All about PGL
You may know that most of year 6 went to pgl on monday to wednesday. While in the coach, on the way, it took approximately 2hours 30 minutes. When we arrived, we met our groupee (Maisie). She then led us to our accommodation which were cabins, they were very nice and in one cabin there couldĀ be up to 4-6 people. Our activities were:
- Rifle shooting
- Trapeze
- Giant swing
- Rock climbing
- Challenge course
- Archery
- Ambush
- Raft building
- Dodgeball
Most of us tried all of the activities. The scariest two in my opinion were the giant swing and Trapeze! All of the staff were amazing and we said a huge thank you before leaving. When YOU get to year 6, i definitely recommend going to pgl, it is great! We went to sleep at about 10:30pm. They do not force you to do all of the activities if you do not want to, but I tried all of them. PGL stands for Peter Gordon Lawrence (who created pgl) OR parents get lost (hahaha) I really recommend going as it is an exciting and wonderful experience which is once in a lifetime. I absolutely LOVED pgl and im sure you would too!
