Big theme park bonanza!
Welcome to this official installment of the unofficial theme park news!
This HUGE report is split up into sections, so here we go!
- Minifigure Speedway at Legoland Windsor resort in London has opened! These two new dueling coasters on the hill are a long needed addition to the park, and hopefully take stress off of the Dragon and Flight of the Sky-lion!
- Hyperia’s opening date has been announced! The new Tallest and Fastest rollercoaster in the UK will open on the 24th of May at Thorpe Park resort (again in London!).
- The (possible) Universal Resort UK has released plans for how the first stage of the theme park will develop! The project is not confirmed yet, but the fact they have bought land and released plans shows this is HIGHLY likely! https://universalukproject.co.uk/
Not only this, but I have visited a NEW theme park! (Well, no, it opened in 1995, but I visited it for the first time!). This is Portaventura World in Salou, Spain. There is also Ferrari Land Spain, of which entrance is in the same plaza, but that’s only REALLY got Red force (the fastest and tallest coaster in Europe). The actual theme park is like a big circle, and takes a good 10-15 minutes to walk around. They have many world class rollercoasters, including Shambhala and Dragon Khan.
