To all parents and pupils concerned, there is a chest and throat infection going around that is being mistaken for Covid. As a caution if you get a sore throat and a cough it is best to either take a lateral flow test or a PCR test. If you are positive you will need to isolate for ten days and if someone in you household gets a positive test you will also need to isolate. If you get a positive lateral flow test, it is best to take a PCR test to prove you have Covid. This is because PCR tests are more accurate and lateral flow tests aren’t as accurate. Enjoy the rest of your weekend stay safe, be aware of the symptoms.
