Meet the new school magazine editors!

This week in the school magazine I will be introducing you to our wonderful new reporters!

What do you think of school? 

Mellinda – I think school is fun because you get to see your friends and learn interesting stuff.

Ariane – It is fun because I can see new people if there are new people and I can learn lots of interesting stuff.

Megan – It is fun and I love learning new things here!

What are you learning about at the moment? 

Mellinda – At the moment we are learning about the Mayans which is a history topic in South America – we are reading a book called Journey to the River Sea which is based in the Amazon.

Ariane – I am learning about the Mayans as well and I am enjoying the book Journey to the River Sea.

Megan – At the moment we are learning about the Mayans and we are reading a book called Journey to the River Sea by Eva Ibbotson.

What was your favourite topic last year? 

Mellinda – My favourite topic was fire and ice because I liked how they were competing against each other.

Ariane – My favourite topic was the Romans!

Megan – Last year my favourite topic was The Iron Man, I liked how it was a book about this Iron Giant and a little boy who finds the giant and hides him. He has to keep away from people hunting the giant. I thought it was really exciting. It also shows differences don’t matter.

Are you dressing up for halloween and what as? 

Mellinda – I’m going to be a monster!

Ariane – I don’t know yet.

Megan – I’m going to be a skeleton bat

What are you most looking forward to writing articles about? 

Mellinda – I’ll be your sports reporter writing all about sports.

Ariane and Megan – We will both be covering events happening around school and we will also do some  interviews.
