New variant

A new variant of  covid-19 has been found called Omicron.

Omicron can spread much faster and can reinfect people who have already had covid, although at the moment scientists don’t know much more than this.

Facemasks are back!

Because of this, the UK government has made the decision to ask people to wear facemasks again from Tuesday 30th November. Booster jabs are now also available for over 18 as before they were only available for 40 and over.
