Year 4s go swimming

In the last to weeks of the first half-term ( that is a mouthful to say ) the years the year four children went swimming at the queens diamond jubilee center And  got put into a group. There six groups and there was three in the shallow pool and three in the deep pool.

Swimming lessons take place in the pools and they (to my knowledge) each lesson is not a teacher (not with your parent) is 30 minutes and with your parents is 50 minutes but that is different to what I’m talking about.

The upper groups were doing strokes like front crawl  and backstroke, breast stroke and dolphin (half way to  butterfly) The highest group were even doing some training for possibly being a lifeguard!

The lower groups were doing doggy paddle and they were also doing back stroke without the arms. I don’t think they did much on breast stroke or dolphin.
