Year 5 and 6 Cross Country.

Year 5 and 6 have been doing Cross Country in the past month. We have done 3 races in different locations to determine whether we get in the final or not. In the first race we had to go around a big field twice. It had some hills but mostly flat and we had to follow a special tape. Our scores were recorded and Lexi got 23rd, Mellinda got 29th. In the second race it was a bit more tricky as there was more hills and we had to go through woods onto another field. In that race Lexi got 33rd place and Mellinda got 26th place. Finally, in the last race we had a steep hill and again we had to do 2 laps. This one in Lexi’s opinion it was the easiest but Mellinda did not like it. Then there is a final coming up and the winner goes to a national race in the county. Unfortunatlly due to blizzards the finals got cancelled. We are hoping that there would be cross country would happen next year.
